अल्लाह का आदेश: काफिरों का सफाया - १

क्या अल्लाह भेद भाव करता है? जी हाँ !

Does Allah discriminate among human beings? Absolutely.

8:55

إِنَّ شَرَّ الدَّوَابِّ عِندَ اللَّـهِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

[८:५५] नीरज अत्री

अल्लाह की निगाह में बदतरीन जंतू कुफ्फार (काफिर का बहुवचन) ही हैं जो ईमान नहीं लाये.

[8:55] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं नदवी

इसमें शक़ नहीं कि ख़ुदा के नज़दीक जानवरों में कुफ्फ़ार सबसे बदतरीन तो (बावजूद इसके) फिर ईमान नहीं लाते

निश्चय ही, सबसे बुरे प्राणी अल्लाह की स्पष्ट में वे लोग है, जिन्होंने इनकार किया। फिर वे ईमान नहीं लाते

Verily, The worst of moving (living) creatures before Allah are those who disbelieve, - so they shall not believe.

[8:55] Maududi

Surely the worst moving creatures in the sight of Allah are those who definitively denied the truth and are therefore in no way prepared to accept it;

काफिर तो घृणित हैं 

Kaafirs are to be hated

9:28

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّمَا الْمُشْرِكُونَ نَجَسٌ فَلَا يَقْرَبُوا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ بَعْدَ عَامِهِمْ هَـٰذَا ۚ وَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ عَيْلَةً فَسَوْفَ يُغْنِيكُمُ اللَّـهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ إِن شَاءَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ

[९:२८] नीरज अत्री

ऐ ईमान लाने वालो, मुशरिक तो यकीनन घृणित (नाजिस) हैं, इसलिए इस वर्ष के उपरान्त वे अल मस्जिदुल अल हराम  (मक्का की काबा मस्जिद) के निकट भी न जाने पायें. यदि तुम्हें लगता है कि इस से तुम्हें धन हानि होगी तो अल्लाह तुम्हें अपने फज़ल से अधिक धन देगा. अल्लाह ही आलिम और हाकिम है.

[9:28] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं नदवी

ऐ ईमानदारों मुशरेकीन तो निरे नजिस हैं तो अब वह उस साल के बाद मस्जिदुल हराम (ख़ाना ए काबा) के पास फिर न फटकने पाएँ और अगर तुम (उनसे जुदा होने में) फक़रों फाक़ा से डरते हो तो अनकरीब ही ख़ुदा तुमको अगर चाहेगा तो अपने फज़ल (करम) से ग़नीकर देगा बेशक ख़ुदा बड़ा वाक़िफकार हिकमत वाला है

[9:28] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं अहमद

ऐ ईमान लानेवालो! मुशरिक तो बस अपवित्र ही है। अतः इस वर्ष के पश्चात वे मस्जिदे हराम के पास न आएँ। और यदि तुम्हें निर्धनता का भय हो तो आगे यदि अल्लाह चाहेगा तो तुम्हें अपने अनुग्रह से समृद्ध कर देगा। निश्चय ही अल्लाह सब कुछ जाननेवाला, अत्यन्त तत्वदर्शी है

 [9:28] Ahmed Raza Khan

O People who Believe! The polytheists are utterly filthy*; so after this year do not let them come near the Sacred Mosque; and if you fear poverty**, then Allah will soon make you wealthy with His grace, if He wills; indeed Allah is All Knowing, Wise. (* Filthy in body and soul. **Due to loss of trade.)

[9:28] Arberry

O believers, the idolaters are indeed unclean; so let them not come near the Holy Mosque after this year of theirs. If you fear poverty, God shall surely enrich you of His bounty, if He will; God is All-knowing; All-wise.

[9:28] Hilali & Khan

O you who believe (in Allah's Oneness and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW)! Verily, the Mushrikun (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, and in the Message of Muhammad SAW) are Najasun (impure). So let them not come near Al-Masjid-al-Haram (at Makkah) after this year, and if you fear poverty, Allah will enrich you if He will, out of His Bounty. Surely, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

अगली छः आयतें स्पष्ट करती हैं कि काफिरों का संहार करना है. ये आयतें उन मक्कारों को झूठा सिद्ध करती हैं जो कहते हैं कि जिहाद मनुष्य के भीतर का युद्ध है. ये मक्कार इन आयतों का उल्लेख कभी नहीं करते.

The following verses, without any ambiguity tell that Infidels have to be killed. These and the subsequent verses fly in the faces of all those who try to mislead the masses by saying that the Jihad is an allegorical fight. i.e. a fight with ones inner self.

8:14 – 19

ذَٰلِكُمْ فَذُوقُوهُ وَأَنَّ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابَ النَّارِ

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا لَقِيتُمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا زَحْفًا فَلَا تُوَلُّوهُمُ الْأَدْبَارَ

وَمَن يُوَلِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ دُبُرَهُ إِلَّا مُتَحَرِّفًا لِّقِتَالٍ أَوْ مُتَحَيِّزًا إِلَىٰ فِئَةٍ فَقَدْ بَاءَ بِغَضَبٍ مِّنَ اللَّـهِ وَمَأْوَاهُ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ

[8:14] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं नदवी

(काफिरों दुनिया में तो) लो फिर उस (सज़ा का चखो और (फिर आख़िर में तो) काफिरों के वास्ते जहन्नुम का अज़ाब ही है

[8:15] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं नदवी

ऐ ईमानदारों जब तुमसे कुफ्फ़ार से मैदाने जंग में मुक़ाबला हुआ तो (ख़बरदार) उनकी तरफ पीठ न करना

[8:16] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं नदवी

(याद रहे कि) उस शख़्स के सिवा जो लड़ाई वास्ते कतराए या किसी जमाअत के पास (जाकर) मौके पाए (और) जो शख़्स भी उस दिन उन कुफ्फ़ार की तरफ पीठ फेरेगा वह यक़ीनी (हिर फिर के) ख़ुदा के ग़जब में आ गया और उसका ठिकाना जहन्नुम ही हैं और वह क्या बुरा ठिकाना है

[8:17] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं नदवी

और (मुसलमानों) उन कुफ्फ़ार को कुछ तुमने तो क़त्ल किया नही बल्कि उनको तो ख़ुदा ने क़त्ल किया और (ऐ रसूल) जब तुमने तीर मारा तो कुछ तुमने नही मारा बल्कि ख़ुदा ख़ुदा ने तीर मारा और ताकि अपनी तरफ से मोमिनीन पर खूब एहसान करे बेशक ख़ुदा (सबकी) सुनता और (सब कुछ) जानता है

[8:18] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं नदवी

ये तो ये ख़ुदा तो काफिरों की मक्कारी का कमज़ोर कर देने वाला है

[8:19] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं नदवी

(काफ़िर) अगर तुम ये चाहते हो (कि जो हक़ पर हो उसकी) फ़तेह हो (मुसलमानों की) फ़तेह भी तुम्हारे सामने आ मौजूद हुई अब क्या गुरूर बाक़ी है और अगर तुम (अब भी मुख़तलिफ़ इस्लाम) से बाज़ रहो तो तुम्हारे वास्ते बेहतर है और अगर कहीं तुम पलट पड़े तो (याद रहे) हम भी पलट पड़ेगें (और तुम्हें तबाह कर छोड़ देगें) और तुम्हारी जमाअत अगरचे बहुत ज्यादा भी हो हरगिज़ कुछ काम न आएगी और ख़ुदा तो यक़ीनी मामिनीन के साथ है

 [8:14] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं अहमद

यह तो तुम चखो! और यह कि इनकार करनेवालों के लिए आग की यातना है

[8:15] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं अहमद

ऐ ईमान लानेवालो! जब एक सेना के रूप में तुम्हारा इनकार करनेवालों से मुक़ाबला हो तो पीठ न फेरो

[8:16] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं अहमद

जिस किसी ने भी उस दिन उनसे अपनी पीठ फेरी - यह और बात है कि युद्ध-चाल के रूप में या दूसरी टुकड़ी से मिलने के लिए ऐसा करे - तो वह अल्लाह के प्रकोप का भागी हुआ और उसका ठिकाना जहन्नम है, और क्या ही बुरा जगह है वह पहुँचने की!

[8:17] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं अहमद

तुमने उसे क़त्ल नहीं किया बल्कि अल्लाह ही ने उन्हें क़त्ल किया और जब तुमने (उनकी ओर मिट्टी और कंकड़) फेंक, तो तुमने नहीं फेंका बल्कि अल्लाह ने फेंका (कि अल्लाह अपनी गुण-गरिमा दिखाए) और ताकि अपनी ओर से ईमानवालों के गुण प्रकट करे। निस्संदेह अल्लाह सुनता, जानता है

[8:18] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं अहमद

यह तो हुआ, और यह (जान लो) कि अल्लाह इनकार करनेवालों की चाल को कमज़ोर कर देनेवाला है

[8:19] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं अहमद

यदि तुम फ़ैसला चाहते हो तो फ़ैसला तुम्हारे सामने आ चुका और यदि बाज़ आ जाओ तो यह तुम्हारे ही लिए अच्छा है। लेकिन यदि तुमने पलटकर फिर वही हरकत की तो हम भी पलटेंगे और तुम्हारा जत्था, चाहे वह कितना ही अधिक हो, तुम्हारे कुछ काम न आ सकेगा। और यह कि अल्लाह मोमिनों के साथ होता है

[8:14] Ahmed Raza Khan

Therefore taste this for now, and along with it for the disbelievers is the punishment of fire.

[8:15] Ahmed Raza Khan

O People who Believe! When you confront a large army of disbelievers in battle, do not turn your backs to them.

[8:16] Ahmed Raza Khan

And on that day whoever turns his back to them, except for a battle strategy or to join one’s own company, has then turned towards Allah’s wrath, and his destination is hell; and what an evil place of return!

[8:17] Ahmed Raza Khan

  So you did not slay them, but in fact Allah slew them; and O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) you did not throw (the sand) when you did throw, but in fact Allah threw; and in order to bestow an excellent reward upon the Muslims; indeed Allah is the All Hearing, the All Knowing.

[8:18] Ahmed Raza Khan

Therefore take this, and (know that) Allah will weaken the scheme of the disbelievers.

[8:19] Ahmed Raza Khan

O disbelievers! If you seek a judgement, then this judgement has come to you; and if you desist, it is better for you; and if you return to mischief, We will punish you again; and your populace will not benefit you, however large it may be – and besides this, Allah is with the Muslims.

 [8:14] Daryabadi

This! taste it then, and know that for the infidels is the torment of the Fire.

[8:15] Daryabadi

O Ye who believe! whenever ye those who disbelieve matching meet slowly turn to them not your backs.

[8:16] Daryabadi

And whosoever turneth his back to them on such a day, unless it be swerving to a fight or wriggling round to anot her company, hath surely drawn upon himself indignation from Allah, and his resort is Hell--an evil destination!

[8:17] Daryabadi

Wherefore ye slew them not, but Allah slew them, and thou thrtwest not, When thou threWest, but Allah threw, in order that he might prove the believers with a goodly proving from Him. Verily Allah is Hearing, Knowing.

[8:18] Daryabadi

Thus! And know that Allah weakenoth the contrivance of infidels.

[8:19] Daryabadi

If ye besought a judgement then surely a judgement hath come unto you. And if ye desist it Will be better for you; and if ye return. We will return; and your host shall avail you not, although numerous it be; and know that verily Allah is with the believers.

[८:१४] नीरज अत्री

यकीनन काफिरों के लिए तो आग की यातना है, इसलिए लो इसका मज़ा चखो.

[८:१५] नीरज अत्री
ऐ ईमान वालो! जब तुम्हारा काफिरों से जंग में सामना हो तो पीठ मत फेरो.
[८:१६] नीरज अत्री
और जो भी उस दिन, जंग की चाल या अपने साथियों की टुकड़ी के पास जाने के अलावा, ऐसा करेगा, उस पर अल्लाह की लानत है और उसका ठिकाना जहन्नुम ही है, जो कि एक बुरा ठिकाना है.
[८:१७] नीरज अत्री
उनकी हत्या तुम ने नहीं की बल्कि अल्लाह ने की है और उन पर जो (कंकड़ और रेत) फेंका वो तुमने नहीं फेंका बल्कि अल्लाह ने फेंका है ताकि वो मुसलामानों की परीक्षा ले सके. अल्लाह सब सुनने वाला और आलिम है.
[८:१८] नीरज अत्री
और ये जान लो कि अल्लाह काफिरों की चाल को कमज़ोर करने वाला है.
[८:१९] नीरज अत्री
ऐ काफ़िरो अगर तुम फैसले की बात करते हो तो फैसला तुम्हारइ सामने आ चुका है. अब अगर तुम ने वही हरकत दुबारा की तो हम पलट आयेंगे और तुम्हारा लश्कर कितना भी विशाल हो, तुम्हारे काम न आएगा क्योंकि अल्लाह तो मुसलामानों के ही साथ है.

[8:14] Hilali & Khan

This is the torment, so taste it, and surely for the disbelievers is the torment of the Fire.

[8:15] Hilali & Khan

O you who believe! When you meet those who disbelieve, in a battle-field, never turn your backs to them.

[8:16] Hilali & Khan

And whoever turns his back to them on such a day - unless it be a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own), - he indeed has drawn upon himself wrath from Allah. And his abode is Hell, and worst indeed is that destination!

[8:17] Hilali & Khan

You killed them not, but Allah killed them. And you (Muhammad SAW) threw not when you did throw but Allah threw, that He might test the believers by a fair trial from Him. Verily, Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower.

[8:18] Hilali & Khan

This (is the fact) and surely, Allah weakens the deceitful plots of the disbelievers.

[8:19] Hilali & Khan

(O disbelievers) if you ask for a judgement, now has the judgement come unto you and if you cease (to do wrong), it will be better for you, and if you return (to the attack), so shall We return, and your forces will be of no avail to you, however numerous it be, and verily, Allah is with the believers. 

काफिर के लिए दो ही विकल्प हैं - मृत्यु अथवा इस्लाम

Either the Kaafir has to be killed; the only other option is that he accepts Islam.

9:5

فَإِذَا انسَلَخَ الْأَشْهُرُ الْحُرُمُ فَاقْتُلُوا الْمُشْرِكِينَ حَيْثُ وَجَدتُّمُوهُمْ وَخُذُوهُمْ وَاحْصُرُوهُمْ وَاقْعُدُوا لَهُمْ كُلَّ مَرْصَدٍ ۚ فَإِن تَابُوا وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتَوُا الزَّكَاةَ فَخَلُّوا سَبِيلَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

[9:5] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं अहमद

फिर, जब हराम (प्रतिष्ठित) महीने बीत जाएँ तो मुशरिकों को जहाँ कहीं पाओ क़त्ल करो, उन्हें पकड़ो और उन्हें घेरो और हर घात की जगह उनकी ताक में बैठो। फिर यदि वे तौबा कर लें और नमाज़ क़ायम करें और ज़कात दें तो उनका मार्ग छोड़ दो, निश्चय ही अल्लाह बड़ा क्षमाशील, दयावान है

[९:५] नीरज अत्री

जब हुरमत के (पवित्र) महीने गुज़र जाएँ तो मुशरिकों को जहां भी देखो, क़त्ल कर दो. उन्हें पकड़ो, घेरो और हर घात लगाने के स्थान पर उनकी ताक में छुप कर बैठो. अगर वो तौबा करते हैं और नमाज़ पढ़ते हैं और ज़कात देते हैं तो उन्हें जाने दो, यकीनन अल्लाह रहम करने वाला (रहीम) और माफ़ करने वाला (गफूर) है.

[9:5] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं नदवी

फिर जब हुरमत के चार महीने गुज़र जाएँ तो मुशरिकों को जहाँ पाओ (बे ताम्मुल) कत्ल करो और उनको गिरफ्तार कर लो और उनको कैद करो और हर घात की जगह में उनकी ताक में बैठो फिर अगर वह लोग (अब भी शिर्क से) बाज़ आऎं और नमाज़ पढ़ने लगें और ज़कात दे तो उनकी राह छोड़ दो (उनसे ताअरूज़ न करो) बेशक ख़ुदा बड़ा बख़्शने वाला मेहरबान है

But when these months, prohibited (for fighting), are over, slay the idolaters wheresoever you find them, and take them captive or besiege them, and lie in wait for them at every likely place. But if they repent and fulfil their devotional obligations and pay the zakat, then let them go their way, for God is forgiving and kind.

[9:5] Ahmed Raza Khan

Then when the sacred months have passed, slay the polytheists wherever you find them, and catch them and make them captive, and wait in ambush for them at every place; then if they repent and keep the prayer established and pay the charity, leave their way free; indeed Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful.

[9:5] Hilali & Khan

Then when the Sacred Months (the Ist, 7th, 11th, and 12th months of the Islamic calendar) have passed, then kill the Mushrikun (see V. 2:105) wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and prepare for them each and every ambush. But if they repent and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat, then leave their way free. Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

[9:5] Yusuf Ali

But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

काफिर को तभी क्षमा करो यदि वो मुसलमान बन जाए 

Releif is only possible if he becomes a Muslim

9:6

 

وَإِنْ أَحَدٌ مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ اسْتَجَارَكَ فَأَجِرْهُ حَتَّىٰ يَسْمَعَ كَلَامَ اللَّـهِ ثُمَّ أَبْلِغْهُ مَأْمَنَهُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَعْلَمُونَ

[९:६] नीरज अत्री
और अगर मुशरिकों में से कोई तुम से शरण मांगे तो उसे शरण दो ताकि वो अल्लाह का कलिमा (कुरान) सुन ले. इसके बाद उसे ऐसी जगह छोड़ो जहां वो सुरक्षित महसूस करे  क्योंकि ये वो लोग हैं जो सच नहीं जानते.

[9:6] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं नदवी

और (ऐ रसूल) अगर मुशरिकीन में से कोई तुमसे पनाह मागें तो उसको पनाह दो यहाँ तक कि वह ख़ुदा का कलाम सुन ले फिर उसे उसकी अमन की जगह वापस पहुँचा दो ये इस वजह से कि ये लोग नादान हैं

[9:6] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं अहमद

और यदि मुशरिकों में से कोई तुमसे शरण माँगे, तो तुम उसे शरण दे दो, यहाँ तक कि वह अल्लाह की वाणी सुन ले। फिर उसे उसके सुरक्षित स्थान पर पहुँचा दो, क्योंकि वे ऐसे लोग हैं, जिन्हें ज्ञान नहीं

[9:6] Ahmed Raza Khan

And O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), if a polytheist seeks your protection, give him protection so that he may hear the Word of Allah, and then transport him to his place of safety; this is because they are an unwise people.

[9:6] Arberry

And if any of the idolaters seeks of thee protection, grant him protection till he hears the words of God; then do thou convey him to his place of security -- that, because they are a people who do not know.

[9:6] Asad

And if any of those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God seeks thy protection, grant him protection, so that he might [be able to] hear the word of God [from thee]; and thereupon convey him to a place where he can feel secure: this, because they [may be] people who [sin only because they] do not know [the truth].

 [9:6] Hilali & Khan

And if anyone of the Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, pagans, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) seeks your protection then grant him protection, so that he may hear the Word of Allah (the Quran), and then escort him to where he can be secure, that is because they are men who know not.

[9:6] Yusuf Ali

If one amongst the Pagans ask thee for asylum, grant it to him, so that he may hear the word of Allah; and then escort him to where he can be secure. That is because they are men without knowledge.

तब तक लड़ते रहो जब तक कि केवल अल्लाह का सम्प्रदाय रह जाए

Fighting with Kaafirs has to continue till the only religion is of Allah.

2:193

وَقَاتِلُوهُمْ حَتَّىٰ لَا تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ وَيَكُونَ الدِّينُ لِلَّـهِ ۖ فَإِنِ انتَهَوْا فَلَا عُدْوَانَ إِلَّا عَلَى الظَّالِمِينَ

[२:१९३] नीरज अत्री

और तुम उन से लड़ते रहो जब तक कि फितना (अल्लाह के साथ और देवी देवताओं की अराधना) समाप्त न हो जाए और (केवल) अल्लाह का ही सम्प्रदाय रह जाए. और यदि वो समझ जाएँ तो ज़ालिमों (अन्य देवी देवताओं की पूजा करने वालों और बुरे कार्य करने वालों) के अतिरिक्त किसी के प्रति सीमा न लान्घो.

[2:193] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं नदवी

और उन से लड़े जाओ यहाँ तक कि फ़साद बाक़ी न रहे और सिर्फ ख़ुदा ही का दीन रह जाए फिर अगर वह लोग बाज़ रहे तो उन पर ज्यादती न करो क्योंकि ज़ालिमों के सिवा किसी पर ज्यादती (अच्छी) नहीं

[2:193] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं अहमद

तुम उनसे लड़ो यहाँ तक कि फ़ितना शेष न रह जाए और दीन (धर्म) अल्लाह के लिए हो जाए। अतः यदि वे बाज़ आ जाएँ तो अत्याचारियों के अतिरिक्त किसी के विरुद्ध कोई क़दम उठाना ठीक नहीं

And fight them until no mischief remains, and only Allah is worshipped; then if they desist, do not harm them, except the unjust.

[2:193] Daryabadi

And fight them until there be no more temptation, and their obedience be wholly unto Allah. So if they desist, then there is to be no violence save against the wrong-doers.

[2:193] Hilali & Khan

And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah) and (all and every kind of) worship is for Allah (Alone). But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun (the polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.)

[2:193] Sarwar

Fight them so that there will be no disbelief in God and God's religion will become dominant. If they change their behavior, there would be no hostility against anyone except the unjust.

 ये युद्ध सदा के लिए है

This fight is permanent.

8:38,39

قُل لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِن يَنتَهُوا يُغْفَرْ لَهُم مَّا قَدْ سَلَفَ وَإِن يَعُودُوا فَقَدْ مَضَتْ سُنَّتُ الْأَوَّلِينَ

وَقَاتِلُوهُمْ حَتَّىٰ لَا تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ وَيَكُونَ الدِّينُ كُلُّهُ لِلَّـهِ ۚ فَإِنِ انتَهَوْا فَإِنَّ اللَّـهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

[८:३८] नीरज अत्री
तुम काफिरों से कहो कि यदि उन्होंने कुफ्र छोड़ दिया तो उन की पुरानी भूलें क्षमा कर दी जायेंगी किन्तु यदि पुनः वही करने लगे तो उन्हें भी वही दंड मिलेगा जो पहले ऐसा करने वालों को मिला है.
[८:३९] नीरज अत्री
ऐ मुसलामानों! तुम काफिरों से तब तक लड़ते जाओ जब तक कि कोई फितना न बचे और सम्पूर्ण विश्व में केवल अल्लाह का ही दीन रह जाए.

[8:38] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं नदवी

(ऐ रसूल) तुम काफिरों से कह दो कि अगर वह लोग (अब भी अपनी शरारत से) बाज़ रहें तो उनके पिछले कुसूर माफ कर दिए जाएं और अगर फिर कहीं पलटें तो यक़ीनन अगलों के तरीक़े गुज़र चुके जो, उनकी सज़ा हुई वही इनकी भी होगी

[8:39] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं नदवी

मुसलमानों काफ़िरों से लड़े जाओ यहाँ तक कि कोई फसाद (बाक़ी) न रहे और (बिल्कुल सारी ख़ुदाई में) ख़ुदा की दीन ही दीन हो जाए फिर अगर ये लोग (फ़साद से) न बाज़ आएं तो ख़ुदा उनकी कारवाइयों को ख़ूब देखता है

[8:38] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं अहमद

उन इनकार करनेवालो से कह दो कि वे यदि बाज़ आ जाएँ तो जो कुछ हो चुका, उसे क्षमा कर दिया जाएगा, किन्तु यदि वे फिर भी वहीं करेंगे तो पूर्ववर्ती लोगों के सिलसिले में जो रीति अपनाई गई वह सामने से गुज़र चुकी है

[8:39] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं अहमद

उनसे युद्ध करो, यहाँ तक कि फ़ितना बाक़ी न रहे और दीन (धर्म) पूरा का पूरा अल्लाह ही के लिए हो जाए। फिर यदि वे बाज़ आ जाएँ तो अल्लाह उनके कर्म को देख रहा है

[8:38] Ahmed Raza Khan

Say to the disbelievers that if they desist, what has passed will be forgiven to them; and if they do the same, the tradition of former people has already passed.

[8:39] Ahmed Raza Khan

And fight them until no mischief remains and the entire religion is only for Allah; then if they desist, Allah sees all what they do.

[8:38] Daryabadi

Say thou unto those who have disbelieved: if they desist, that which is past shall be forgiven them, and if they return, then already gone forth is the dispensation of the ancients.

[8:39] Daryabadi

And fight against them until there be no temptations and their obedience be wholly unto Allah. So if they desist, thens verily Allah is the Beholder of that which they do.

[8:38] Hilali & Khan

Say to those who have disbelieved, if they cease (from disbelief) their past will be forgiven. But if they return (thereto), then the examples of those (punished) before them have already preceded (as a warning).

[8:39] Hilali & Khan

And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allah) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allah Alone [in the whole of the world]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allah), then certainly, Allah is All-Seer of what they do.

[8:38] Qaribullah

Tell the unbelievers that if they abandon their ways He will forgive them what is past; but, if they return, that was indeed the way of their forefathers who have passed away.

[8:39] Qaribullah

Fight them until persecution is no more and the Religion of Allah reigns supreme. If they desist, Allah sees the things they do;

 जो कुरान पर विश्वास नहीं करते उनके लिए है 'जहन्नुम की आग'.

Those who do not believe Quran, for them is the ‘Fire of Hell’.

4:55

[4:55] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं नदवी

फिर कुछ लोग तो इस (किताब) पर ईमान लाए और कुछ लोगों ने उससे इन्कार किया और इसकी सज़ा के लिए जहन्नुम की दहकती हुई आग काफ़ी है

उनमें से कुछ (मोहम्मद पर) ईमान लाये और कुछ ने अवहेलना की. उनके लिए जहन्नुम (नर्क) की पर्याप्त अग्नि है.

[4:55] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं अहमद

फिर उनमें से कोई उसपर ईमान लाया और उसमें से किसी ने किनारा खीच लिया। और (ऐसे लोगों के लिए) जहन्नम की भड़कती आग ही काफ़ी है

And some of them there are that believe, and some of them that bar from it; Gehenna suffices for a Blaze!

[4:55] Hilali & Khan

Of them were (some) who believed in him (Muhammad SAW), and of them were (some) who averted their faces from him (Muhammad SAW); and enough is Hell for burning (them).

[4:55] Sarwar

Some have believed, others have disbelieved and tried to prevent people from believing. For these people, only the intense fire of hell is a sufficient punishment.

केवल काफिर ही नहीं उन मुसलामानों को भी मारो जो लड़ना नहीं चाहते. इसलिए जब मुंबई अथवा न्यू यॉर्क में इस्लामी आतंकवादियों द्वारा किये हमले में मुसलमान भी मरते हैं तो कुरान के अनुसार उन्हें मारना अच्छा कार्य है.

Not only Kaafirs but those Muslims, who do not want to fight (Munafik) are also to be killed. That is why Muslims killed in Mumbai or New York do not matter to the Islamic terrorists.

9:73

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ جَاهِدِ الْكُفَّارَ وَالْمُنَافِقِينَ وَاغْلُظْ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ وَمَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ

[9:73] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं अहमद

ऐ नबी! इनकार करनेवालों और मुनाफ़िक़ों से जिहाद करो और उनके साथ सख़्ती से पेश आओ। अन्ततः उनका ठिकाना जहन्नम है और वह जा पहुँचने की बहुत बुरी जगह है!

[9:73] फ़ारूक़ ख़ान एवं नदवी

ऐ रसूल कुफ्फ़ार के साथ (तलवार से) और मुनाफिकों के साथ (ज़बान से) जिहाद करो और उन पर सख्ती करो और उनका ठिकाना तो जहन्नुम ही है और वह (क्या) बुरी जगह है

[९:७३] नीरज अत्री

 ऐ नबी (मोहम्मद)! काफिरों और मुनाफिकों से जिहाद करो और उन से कठोरतापूर्ण व्यवहार करो. अंततः तो उनका स्थान नर्क में ही है; क्या बुरा स्थान है वो!


[9:73] Ahmed Ali

Strive, O Prophet, against the unbelievers and the hypocrites, and deal with them firmly. Their final abode is Hell: And what a wretched destination!

 [9:73] Daryabadi

O Prophet! strive hard against the infidels and the hypocrites; and be severe unto them. And their resort is Hell--a hapless destination.

[9:73] Qaribullah

O Prophet, struggle with the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be harsh with them. Gehenna shall be their refuge an evil arrival.
